Leisure Loop App - Case Study
Case Study - Leisure Loop Mobile App
Helping people find and book local activities while building social connections
The Problem
People often struggle to find fun, safe, and social activities in their area. Existing platforms are either too broad or lack features that help users connect and plan with others.
The Goal
Design a mobile app that:
-Recommends nearby activities based on interests
-Enables group chats for attendees
-Simplifies booking
-Plans for user safety (e.g., future abuse reporting feature)
Target Users
-Young adults (18–35)
-Newcomers to an area
-People seeking low-pressure social experiences
My Role
UX/UI Designer – user research, wireframes, mockups, and prototype creation in Figma
Process
Conducted surveys and empathy mapping
Created user flows for onboarding, discovery, chat, and booking
Designed a clean, mobile-friendly UI using a soft, inviting color palette
Built and tested a clickable Figma prototype

Activity feed based on location
Interest-based onboarding

In-app booking
Safety reporting (planned feature)
Key Feedback
Users loved the idea of chatting before events
Booking process was intuitive
Future needs: filters, verified profiles, push notifications

Willow & Fret is a fictional custom instrument brand where users can design handcrafted string instruments to their specifications. The site offers guitars, basses, cellos, violins, and American folk instruments like banjos and mandolins, blending artisan craftsmanship with an elegant, user-friendly design experience.

Lord of the Groom is a mobile pet grooming concept inspired by a local business. I designed a user-friendly site and app prototype that lets pet owners book and pay for grooming services with ease, focusing on mobile-first design and a smooth user experience.
